TX Young Musician of the Year

It has been a busy week for our MP2 and MP3 children at TX as we have had our auditions for the 2017 Young Musician of the Year. Mr Jon was very impressed with the quality of performances and the number of students auditioning – over 50 children from Y3 to Y6 had a go and played a piece during their music lessons this week. A huge well done to everyone who auditioned and played so well. It was a pleasure to listen to such musical children and to hear so many different instruments – piano, voice, cello, saxophone, violin, keyboard, trumpet and drums. You have given Mr Jon a really tough job to choose just 12 children to go through to the semi-finals. He will let you know on Monday who has made it through as he has much careful deliberating to do! Good luck to all musicians at TX, AP1 and BVIS!

Once again, well done and thank you to our amazing TX musicians – you are all truly inspiring, clearly practice very hard and have such musical talent.
