Year 6 Atmospheric Music


The children in Year 6 at AP1 have been learning about Atmospheric Music - the music that happens in the background of a film to make the listener feel a certain way. We've used the Garageband app on the iPads to record a story and then create our own compositions using both the pre-recorded loops and our own live sounds.

    I like how the atmospheric music made me feel as if I was in the 'story' like when they say that you see something scary, I can imagine seeing something scary and running down the stairs.

    Your piece is more Techno than Suspenseful.
    I do like that you used a loop but I think it would be more atmospheric if you use individual instruments for each verse. But other than that your piece was very interesting to listen to because of the way you composed it.
