Year 6 Blues Musicians

The Year 6 children at AP1 have been using the piece called 'Blue Monk' by Blues musician Theolonious Monk to inspire their own Blues pieces. All children worked as an ensemble to produce their own structured piece that included a melody, a bass line and an improvised section. What do you think is good about our pieces? What could we improve upon for next time? Don't forget to comment!

  22. Playing Blues music is a challenge you have to work in a team and play as like your one person. The challenge at that was really fun because my group did not have a lot of time to prepare but it was fun all the same. I hope in Secondary we could some more Blues music.

I think that we would have only succeeded with each other. Gia Ky was very tense because Thao Ann wasn't here but she did really well!!! I think we worked together very well :)
