• Rodrigo y Gabriela (Spanish for Rodrigo and Gabriela) are a Mexican classical guitar duo.

• They collaborated with Hans Zimmer on The Pirates of the Caribbean:On Stranger Tides soundtrack while also contributing to the soundtrack for the Shrek prequel Puss in Boots.

•   In 2010, they performed at the White House in the United States of America for the then president Barack Obama.

• Their music is influencedcby flamenco, rock, jazz and heavy metal.

•  Fun fact: they both lead a vegan lifestyle and are big supporters of animal rights!
